Is it really October already? Where did the summer go? Actually, I know where it went because I have never been so busy. But less about that for now and more about….
“Hey, I’m blogging again, guys!”
Yes, yes I am. Oh, how I have missed it. Some time perhaps I’ll fill you all in on where the heck I have been for the last eight months, but at the end of the day I cannot change that fact that where I was wasn’t here blogging on ‘the moon’. Today I’m hoping to change that from here on in. I’m back now and planning to pop in a lot more often. We’ll chat about, well, just about anything we want to; I’ll share with you, you share with me; we’ll laugh, we’ll cry, we’ll rock and we may very well shake the monitor now and again, and we are going to do all of it more than we have been. Savvy?
Smashing!
Let us on with the a quick catch -you-up-on-the-very-latest post then, shall we?
So first off, this past weekend here at home in Canada was our Thanksgiving weekend which I spent a portion of flying through the air on a Tornado. No, I’m not kidding. See….’
Wait, what? You didn’t think I meant a real tornado did you?
Spending the long weekend at the Midway was a great break from the chaotic norm and going at night is one of my favourite things ever to do. I love the array of lights, the bags of cotton candy and popcorn, the mix of young and old all jockeying for their turn to scream their lungs out at neck-breaking spins and spirals. Believe it or not, totally relaxing for me and I loved it.
So naturally I snapped s few shots…
After all Midway fun had been had, it was on to the Turkey Day.
Woke up bright and early to make stuffing, turkey, scrumpt-i-ous side dishes……
…..and my very first pumpkin pie!
At the end of a very very good Thanksgiving Day, the house finally quiet again, I curled up in my chair with a glass of red wine and a plate of pie to watch Being Erica then Castle. Let it be known that there is something beyond blissful about consuming pie while Nathan Fillion solves crimes on my television screen. But I digress, because you really do not want to let me loose on that one. Trust me. But speaking of television….
On Thursday, I’m flying to Toronto to see this awesome lady….
so we can fly out on Friday to New York City to go to this …
SO EXCIIIIIIIITED! It’s my first Comic Con and my very first trip out of Canada. Excited doesn’t even begin to describe how I’m feeling. Depending on how crazy our panel/press room schedule is, I may have to blog about our trip the weekend I get back home (Oct 22nd I think), we’ll see how she goes. If you follow my Twitter, that’s probably the best way to keep updated till I can post.
Well guys, I think we’re all caught up. Yay us!
Until next time,
L. xo
